Windows Systems Administrator
Responsibilities
Ensure the stability, security, and reliability of all servers, systems, and network infrastructure.
Perform system and network administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware and software.
Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
Implement and manage a data backup and recovery plan in the event of system failures or disasters.
Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures, as well as perform common scheduled tasks.
Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement various IT projects, including software installations, upgrades, and migrations.
Participate in the development of IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the security of the institution's data and systems.
Work closely with the Information Security Team which may include conducting audits, scans, and assessments of the systems and network infrastructure to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities and compliance risks, while proposing controls for mitigating risks to services or data.
Provide tier 2+ knowledgeable support and guidance to end-users on hardware, software, and network issues.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
